Responsibilities

• Guard the entrance and exit points of the farm, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
• Conduct regular patrols around the premises to deter theft and unauthorized activities.
• Record all entries and exits in the logbook, including visitors and deliveries.
• Monitor CCTV and report any suspicious behavior.
• Ensure all gates and perimeter lights are secure.
• Coordinate with the Site Supervisor in case of emergencies.
• Keep the guardhouse and waiting area clean and orderly.
• Perform light maintenance tasks when needed.
• Maintain the garden and landscaped area around the guardhouse.

Job description

Security and Monitoring

1. Guard the entrance and exit points of the farm, ensuring only authorized personnel, vehicles, and visitors are allowed entry.
2. Conduct regular patrols around the premises to deter theft, trespassing, or any unauthorized activities.
3. Record all entries and exits in the logbook, including visitors, suppliers, and deliveries.
4. Monitor CCTV (if applicable) and promptly report any suspicious behavior or security incidents.
5. Ensure all gates, fences, and perimeter lights are functional and secure at all times.
6. Coordinate immediately with the Site Supervisor or Farm Manager in case of emergencies, such as fire, intrusion, or accidents.

Maintenance and Cleanliness

1. Keep the guardhouse, waiting area, and surroundings clean and orderly.
2. Sweep and remove debris or litter within the vicinity of his post daily.
3. Maintain the cleanliness of assigned tools, chairs, tables, and communication devices.
4. Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing bulbs, fixing simple fixtures, or assisting in upkeep when needed.

Grounds and Garden Maintenance

1. Water plants, remove weeds, and maintain the garden or landscaped area around the guardhouse.
2. Trim grass, hedges, and ornamental plants regularly to preserve the farm’s aesthetic appearance.
3. Assist in planting or repositioning ornamental plants as directed by the Farm Manager.
4. Dispose of dried leaves, cut grass, and other organic waste properly.

Other Responsibilities

1. Assist in directing visitors, suppliers, and vehicles to proper parking or unloading areas.
2. Report any observed irregularities, damages, or maintenance needs in the farm’s facilities.
3. Support in farm activities when required, provided they do not compromise security duties.
4. Adhere to company policies, especially on discipline, attendance, and reporting.
