Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines seeks a Senior Analyst to help protect, detect, and automate cyber defense across global environments, serving as a technical SME in security engineering and supporting SIEM and SOAR platforms.

You’ll configure SIEMs and automation playbooks, collaborate with SOC teams, and drive improvements in incident response. The role is hybrid with Cubao office access and opportunities for training and certifications.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on exposure to SIEM and/or SOAR engineering.
• Experience working in a SOC environment is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Protect, Detect, and Automate Cyber Defense

Join Accenture's Cybersecurity team and help build and enhance advanced security monitoring and response capabilities. As a Senior Analyst, you will serve as a technical SME within security engineering initiatives, supporting SIEM and SOAR platforms that strengthen cyber defense across global organizations.

What You'll Do

SIEM Engineering

• Configure, maintain, and optimize SIEM solutions such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Google SecOps, QRadar, and Elastic.
• Develop correlation rules, alerts, dashboards, reports, and use cases to improve threat detection.
• Integrate security telemetry from cloud, endpoint, network, and application environments.
• Troubleshoot data ingestion, parsing, and normalization issues to improve data quality.

SOAR & Security Automation

• Develop and maintain automation playbooks using platforms such as Cortex XSOAR, Splunk SOAR, or IBM Resilient.
• Automate alert triage, enrichment, and response workflows.
• Work closely with SOC analysts to improve incident response efficiency.
• Support integrations between SOAR platforms and security technologies.

Security Operations Support

• Support incident investigations through actionable detections and automation‑driven insights.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements to detection capabilities.
• Create technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Provide guidance and knowledge‑sharing sessions to security operations teams.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant cybersecurity experience with hands‑on exposure to SIEM and/or SOAR engineering.
• Experience working in a SOC environment is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Hands‑on experience with at least one SIEM platform:
  • Splunk
  • Microsoft Sentinel
  • Google SecOps
  • QRadar
  • ArcSight
• Experience with security automation and scripting using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CIS Controls, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and cloud security technologies.
