Job summary

Thrive is seeking a Security Engineer to join the Security Infrastructure team in Manila. You will manage FortiSIEM, Elastic SIEM, Microsoft Sentinel, and Defender XDR, while overseeing EDR tools like FortiEDR and SentinelOne to mitigate threats and automate responses.

You will also customize client reports, ensure API security, and generate insights from security data. Strong communication and collaboration with clients and internal teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical experience in design, implementation, and management of security engineering systems.
• Proven experience with FortiSIEM, Elastic SIEM, Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR products.
• Strong background in SIEM management.
• Extensive experience in implementing and overseeing Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Experience with SOAR tools and automated security response implementations.
• Familiarity with API security protocols and measures.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data from various sources to solve complex problems and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in developing and automating client-facing reports.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage FortiSIEM, Elastic SIEM, Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR products.
• Manage EDR solutions such as FortiEDR, SentinelOne, and Defender for Endpoint.
• Collaborate to design automated security use cases and playbooks.
• Oversee API security measures and secure data transmission.
• Develop and automate client reports and upload to ServiceNow portal.
• Create and maintain security process documentation and runbooks.
• Design client reports, dashboards, and security metrics.
• Stay updated on latest security threats and trends.
