Job summary

UnionBank is seeking a Security Architect to define and strengthen the Bank’s information security architecture. Based at UB Plaza, Pasig, you will review solutions, implement controls, and ensure cloud, apps, and infrastructure stay protected against evolving threats.

You will design security solutions across infrastructure, applications, and software development processes, assess risk, and collaborate with business units and engineering teams to embed security across platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and risk management.
• Experience across cloud, application, and infrastructure security.
• Familiarity with secure software development practices.
• Ability to communicate security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions across infrastructure, applications, cloud environments, and SDLC processes.
• Assess systems and architectures to identify risks and recommend security controls.
• Collaborate with business units, architects, and engineering teams to embed security across platforms.
• Research emerging threats and best practices to enhance security posture.
• Maintain security architecture documentation and support security-related initiatives.
