Job summary

Jardine Service Centre Philippines is expanding its technology capabilities and seeking a cybersecurity professional to lead firewall assessment, auditing, and threat intelligence activities. You will evaluate current firewall architecture, policies, and performance while monitoring threats and staying ahead of attackers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an IT/Computer related course.
• At least 3 years of working experience in cybersecurity focus on penetration testing and related methodologies.
• Highly conversant in English language.
• Critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail and follow up Background in IT technologies, processes, and security operations.
• Collaborative, responsible and has personal accountability. Able to work with a team and individually with minimal guidance.
• Resourceful, curious to learn and can adapt on emerging security technologies and platforms.
• Working experience in a shared services center. Knowledge of various guides and security frameworks. (NIST, MITRE, CIS, ISO 27001, CVE, etc)
• Knowledge in IOCs, OWASP and types of attacks, malwares, threat actor and vulnerability.
• Knowledge in different security monitoring platforms and cloud technologies
• Experienced working in a global or regional environment.
• At least One (1) Industry related IT certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, Audit, and Assurance: of the current firewall architecture and configuration, including hardware, software, and firewall rules.
• Assessment, Audit, and Assurance: of firewall policies and procedures, including security measures such as access control, logging, and incident response.
• Assessment, Audit, and Assurance: of network traffic and firewall logs to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Assessment, Audit, and Assurance: of firewall performance, including capacity, availability, and response times.
• Assessment, Audit, and Assurance: for improving firewall security and performance, including configuration changes, software updates, and hardware upgrades.
• Assessment, Audit, and Assurance: of a detailed audit report, including a risk assessment, findings, recommendations, and action plan.
• Assessment, Audit, and Assurance: support, including implementation of recommendations and ongoing monitoring of firewall security.
• Hunting and Threat intelligence: in threat hunting activities and work closely with team in delivering services related to threat monitoring of cyber threats
• Hunting and Threat intelligence: threat intelligence feeds and systems to detect, classify and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
• Hunting and Threat intelligence: the threat landscape and analyze emerging threats, trends, and patterns to stay ahead of the threat actors.
• Hunting and Threat intelligence: and maintain threat intelligence reports, dashboards, and other information dissemination methods to provide stakeholders with up-to-date threat intelligence.
