Job summary

Metrobank is looking for a Deployment Officer to oversee secure and compliant technology deployments across non-production and production environments. The ideal candidate will ensure all deployments follow change records and safety protocols, maintain auditable documentation, and collaborate across teams to improve deployment processes. Requirements include at least 2 years of experience in Release Deployment, a strong grasp of Linux and Windows systems, and knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab. This position is essential for maintaining system stability and security.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in Release Deployment, Release Engineering, DevOps, and IT Operations.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments, including Windows Systems administration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using deployment tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Basic scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell and Python.

Responsibilities

• Support the validation of deployment requests for compliance with change records and release authorizations.
• Execute application and infrastructure deployments using defined, controlled, and auditable methods.
• Maintain accurate records of deployment activities for internal control and compliance.
• Participate in change review sessions and provide deployment risk and readiness inputs.
• Identify opportunities for improving deployment automation and efficiency.
