• Analyze user search queries and categorize search requirements to identify quality issues.
• Provide feedback to improve guidelines, standards, or SOPs based on assessments.
• Be flexible to work on projects outside core expertise and support related tasks.
• Handle exposure to sensitive content as part of escalation responses, when applicable.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

About The Team

The Search Ads Ops team is dedicated to evaluating and optimizing search algorithms within search ads. Our team conducts thorough evaluations and investigations to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. Additionally, we manage labeling projects to train and refine our models, aiming to improve the relevance and effectiveness of search ads. Our goal is to drive revenue growth while maintaining a high-quality user experience, balancing commercial objectives with user satisfaction. We strive to deliver superior search ads solutions through continuous innovation and meticulous analysis.

It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance. This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.

What will I be doing?

1. Conduct regular assessments on search quality in accordance with evaluation guidelines/standards.
2. Utilize evaluation methodology to perform daily strategy assessment of search quality in accordance with evaluation guidelines/standards.
3. Analyze user search queries, utilize various tools to understand and categorize search requirements, and identify types of search quality issues in search results.
4. Provide feedback and suggestions for guidelines/standards/SOP improvement based on assessments.
5. Being flexible and open to working on projects outside of core expertise and using assessment methods to support related projects.
6. Able to work with sensitive content including but not limited to child exploitation, diverse religious and political perspectives, violence, and adult/sexual content. (Not frequent)
7. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• - Fluency in Tagalog is required for interacting with Tagalog content and stakeholders, plus fluency in English as the primary working language.
• - Familiarity with search engines, social media algorithms, and SEO
• - Strong capacity to learn and understand new concepts
• - Proficiency in common office software and search engine-related experience preferred
• - Deep understanding of local culture and internet usage habits
• - Attention to detail and ability to use data analysis to identify trends
