Job summary

Maersk Filipinas Crewing Inc. (Marine People Philippines) seeks an Electrical Engineer with seagoing experience to join our container vessels. You will supervise electrical maintenance, coordinate with shore personnel, and ensure safe operation of all electrical and reefer systems.

Requirements include at least 12 months seatime in rank and a minimum of 250 reefers experience; training and career development opportunities are provided onboard.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months seatime in rank
• With minimum 250 reefers container experience
• Competent in supervising electrical maintenance and safety

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical maintenance and repair by shore personnel with safety in mind
• Check, maintain and repair electrical/electronic plant and machinery as directed by senior officers
• Report electrical checks and reefers maintenance to the Chief Engineer
• Report tasks during loading/unloading of reefers to the Chief Officer/Master
• Ensure proper work/rest hour planning and raise rest-hour concerns to officers
