Job summary

Futura International BV in Manila, Philippines, seeks a payroll professional to manage end-to-end payroll for seafarers and office staff. You will ensure accurate gross-to-net calculations, prepare bank files, and perform final reviews before payments.

Responsibilities include handling multi-currency payroll, reconciling to the general ledger, and submitting monthly/annual tax returns while responding to employee inquiries and supporting process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Experience in a manning agency or shipping company is an advantage.
• CPA preferred: PRC Board of Accountancy.

Responsibilities

• Monthly payroll processing for seafarers in line with employment contracts (basic wage, overtime, leave pay, allowances).
• Final wage account when seafarer signs off.
• Monthly payroll processing for office staff from inputs to net pay.
• Final payroll review before payment with prior period comparison.
• Preparation of bank files and GL reconciliation.
• Preparation and filing of monthly and annual tax returns.
• Responding to queries about pay, allotments and deductions.
• Contributing to payroll process improvements.
