Job summary

Mitti Labs Limited seeks a Head of Policy, South East Asia to lead regulatory strategy for compliant entry across SEA markets. You will coordinate LoA authorizations, engage ministries, and build partnerships with buyers and regional bodies.

Role requires deep carbon policy expertise, regional fluency, and the commercial instinct to translate policy outcomes into Mitti's expansion plan. Collaboration with C-suite and country heads is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in carbon markets, climate policy or related field.
• Strong understanding of compliance carbon markets in Asia (CORSIA, Singapore, JCM, GX-ETS).
• Ability to navigate multiple regulatory regimes and ministries across SEA.
• Experience building government authorizations and engaging with buyers or partners.
• Track record of turning policy insights into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Market entry strategy and intelligence for SEA compliance pathways.
• Build and maintain country dossiers on regulation, LoA requirements, and market size.
• Lead LoA applications with host governments ensuring alignment to NDC and environmental criteria.
• Coordinate with country heads and ministerial offices to remove blockers.
• Engage local partners and Mitti's senior advisor network to unlock doors.
• Represent Mitti at policy forums, roundtables, COP/SB sessions.
• Develop partnerships with regional orgs (IRRI, ADB, World Bank, JICA).
• Support demand-side access to credits under CORSIA, Singapore, JCM and GX-ETS.
• Collaborate with India team to extend partnerships across SEA.
