Job summary

Marcura is seeking a hands-on Screening Analyst / Data Steward to join its Compliance team in the Philippines. You will manage master data integrity, perform sanctions screening, document verification, and KYC/EDD activities to support counterparty due diligence and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a graduate degree and AML/KYC training, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. You will work remotely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, timely updates, and adherence

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Shipping, Banking or Commerce is desirable.
• AML/KYC training or equivalent exposure.
• At least 3 years of sanction screening, KYC/EDD or data stewardship experience.
• Experience working remotely or collaborating virtually.

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, and maintain accurate counterparty/customer data in the master data system.
• Carry out day-to-day activities with planning and monitoring per SOPs.
• Perform sanctions screening, false positive reviews, and document verification.
• Monitor emails, tickets and notifications; take actions per SOPs.
• Ensure data and document management follow established processes.
• Deliver high-quality output within the SLA; update and create records.
• Analyze diverse data sources to extract accurate and reliable information.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and Legal teams to meet screening requirements.
• Maintain top-quality data elements for complete and up-to-date master data.

MCaaS is looking for a hands-on Screening Analyst / Data Steward to join its growing team of

Compliance professionals to assemble and enhance master and reference datasets.

The role will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of our master data – carry out the dayto-

day activities with regards to counterparty due diligence, sanctions screening, bank account

verification, document verification, commodity screening and false positive reviews.

Job Responsibilities

• Create, validate, and maintain accurate and up-to-date information related to counterparties and customers in our proprietary master data system.
• Carry out day-to-day activities with efficient planning and monitoring, while strictly complying with process standards.
• Perform sanctions-screening, false positive review, and verification of documents and business rules.
• Monitor customer emails, document follow-up, tickets, and notifications, and take appropriate actions in accordance with established SOPs.
• Ensure that all data-related and document management processes are being followed as per established SOPs.
• Deliver high-quality output and ensure all creation and updates are completed within the agreed SLA.
• Analyze and research different sources of information, including conflicting data sources, to extract meaningful, accurate, and reliable data.
• Work collaboratively within customer compliance, operations, and Marcura Legal teams to ensure all screening requirements are met in the most appropriate manner.
• Ensure that key data elements of counterparties are of the highest possible quality to keep our master data complete, up-to-date, and accurate.

Requirements

• Graduate degree holder (in Shipping, Banking or Commerce would be desirable)
• Sanction screening or AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Compliance Training
• 3 years of Sanction Screening or KYC and EDD or Data Stewardship experience
• Experience of remote working or collaborating virtually
