Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Support submission of at least 4 peer-reviewed manuscripts in a 12-month period. Support includes drafting high-level manuscripts, assisting with online paper submissions, and organizing responses from all authors to comments from journal editors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including statisticians, epidemiologists, and medical writers, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of research studies and publications.
- Support medical writing analyses related to health economics or epidemiology in medical topics relevant to medical devices such as sutures, surgical staplers, and other surgical devices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and regulatory guidelines related to health economics, epidemiology, and medical devices.
- Review documents and manuscripts focusing on medical and epidemiologic soundness.
- Conduct and evaluate literature searches and analyze scientific literature pertaining to disease natural history to understand inherent risks associated with the indication.
- Create and develop information in response to published scientific literature, news media releases, or new/highly publicized medical discoveries or information.
- Contribute to research activities via epidemiologic and scientific publications, supporting statistical risk assessment.
- Draft health economics/epidemiology manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication and conference posters.
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings from published papers.
- Review and evaluate medical/epidemiological literature and draft epidemiological documents and manuscripts.
- Develop internal white papers on topics impacting efficacy or safety.
