Job summary

Boys Town in Pawtucket, RI seeks a School Support Specialist to assist students with behavioral and attendance challenges, work with families, and coordinate with school staff. The role focuses on improving student outcomes through intervention, resources, and collaboration.

Starting Pay: $20-21/hour

Full-Time / Year-Round

Shifts: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide administrative intervention for students with behavioral or attendance issues

Who We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum age of 18 required
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and experience with special needs or behavioral support in school settings
Physical & Safety Requirements
  • Mostly sedentary work in a standard school or office environment
  • Regular use of computers and standard office equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, EQUIPMENT USAGE, WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Position is relatively sedentary in a normal office administrative environment involving minimum exposure to physical risks. Will use office equipment such as a computer/laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a general workstation set-up.
