Job summary

TheraPeds Partners in Aurora, CO is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a short-term school-based assignment January 2027 to April 2027. The role is on-site and involves direct therapy, evaluations, IEP goals, and collaboration with educators.

You will work with PreK–12 students across elementary to high school, provide CF-SLP or CCC-SLP options, and receive support from district and TheraPeds. Benefits include guaranteed hours and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active or eligible for Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
• Colorado Department of Education certification or credential for school-based practice, as required.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Clinical Fellowship (CF-SLP) candidates may be considered, with supervision available.
• Experience working with children.
• School-based experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students individually and in small groups.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals.
• Evaluate student progress and adjust intervention strategies based on data.
• Provide consultation and support to teachers, special education staff, and families.
• Support students with articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, social/pragmatic communication, and AAC.
• Monitor student performance and collect data to measure progress.
• Complete timely documentation and progress reports.
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, reevaluation, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
