Job summary

SEAS Philippines Inc. is seeking a Scaffolding Inspector to oversee safety, stability, and proper installation of scaffolding systems across projects in Mauban, Quezon, Philippines.

You will conduct pre-use and periodic inspections, identify defects, verify bracing, ties, platforms, access, guardrails and load capacity, maintain inspection records, and coordinate corrective actions with scaffold supervisors, engineers, and the Safety Officer to ensure safe scaffold operations.

Job description

The Scaffolding Inspector is responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and verifying the safety, stability, and proper installation of scaffolding systems throughout the project. The role ensures that scaffolds are erected, modified, and dismantled in accordance with approved procedures, project requirements, and applicable safety standards.

The inspector conducts pre-use and periodic inspections, identifies defects and unsafe conditions, verifies proper bracing, ties, platforms, access, guardrails, and load capacity, and ensures that defective scaffolds are tagged and removed from service. The position also maintains inspection records, coordinates corrective actions, and works closely with scaffold supervisors, workers, engineers, and the Safety Officer to maintain safe scaffold operations.
