Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions in Makati City, Philippines, seeks a seasoned SCADA Engineer to design, configure, and implement SCADA systems for renewable energy facilities, ensuring seamless integration of sensors, controllers, and data acquisition.

You will develop basis of design, create interface drawings, integrate with EMS and BMS, and support commissioning and FAT/SAT. A background in PLC/RTU/HMI, cybersecurity, and renewables (solar/wind/BESS) is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Renewable Energy, Mechanical (with energy systems focus), Automation, Control Systems Engineering, or Computer Science (industrial control systems focus).
• SCADA certifications (e.g., Siemens, Schneider Electric) and hands-on experience with PLC/RTU/HMI systems.
• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP) and expertise in industrial networking and SCADA standards.
• 5+ years in renewable energy and grid integration with equipment integration into SCADA.
• Strong programming skills (Python, Java, C++, SQL) and data analytics/reporting tools (Excel, MATLAB).
• Proficiency in industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, Ethernet/IP) and regulatory standards.
• Field commissioning and travel for system monitoring; problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SCADA systems for renewable energy facilities.
• Develop Basis of Design and interface drawings.
• Integrate SCADA with inverters, transformers, BMS, and weather stations.
• Ensure EMS compatibility and remote operations centers integration.
• Prepare engineering documentation and support FAT/SAT procedures.
• Provide technical support and on-site commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Ensure cybersecurity and compliance with grid codes.
