Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a senior SAP ABAP/MDG-M developer to join our global Data Governance team in a hybrid role based in the Philippines. You will translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, design and develop ABAP, MDG-M/S, and S/4HANA extensions, and collaborate with Process Champions and Solution Architects.

Candidates should have 7+ years in SAP ABAP/MDG-M, 3+ years in material/vendor data management, and strong knowledge of SAP ECC, MDG-M, S/4HANA, and FIORI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP MDG-M; SAP S/4HANA and SAP FIORI are assets.
• 7+ years in SAP ABAP and SAP MDG-M/S development.
• 3+ years in solution development for material and vendor data management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end processes in supply chain management, PLM, and data governance.
• Experience with global organizations and cross-regional processes.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into SAP/Data Governance solutions.
• Proficient English; ability to work in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Taking part in workshops to understand requirements, functional and technical scope of requested changes and priorities.
• Designing and developing applications using ABAP, WebDynpro, FIORI and other related technologies
• Following SAP best practices and ensuring, that these practices are adopted within Mettler Toledo, in Data Governance area
• Applying design methodologies and tool sets; completing configuration and programming; designing and conducting development tests
• Recommending system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of the SAP and other related standard application offerings vs custom development
• Completing application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development problems across multiple master data management process areas
• Providing hyper care support as well as application maintenance support for the users of the systems supported by DG Product Team(s)
• Providing optimal solutions to enhancement change requests
• Taking part in design and implementation activities in close collaboration with the Process Champions, Business Analysts and Solution Architect
• Designing and conducting Unit Tests, support for User Acceptance Tests
• Providing support for other team members and users of the systems supported by DG SCM/PLM Product Team
• Providing strong ownership of driven changes, supporting delivery and making sure that change properly goes through its lifecycle

What You Need to Succeed

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field,

Knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP MDG-M. SAP S/4HANA, and SAP FIORI is an additional asset

Minimum of 7 years' experience in SAP ABAP and SAP MDG-M/S development

Minimum 3 years' experience in solution development for material and vendor data managemen

Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes in supply chain management, product lifecycle management and data governance domains

Strong knowledge of Material Master, Vendor/Supplier Master, and related business processes including sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, product development, and compliance.

Understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality concepts, master data lifecycle management, and process governance.

Experience working with global business organizations and supporting cross-functional processes across multiple regions, functions, and legal entities.

Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP and Data Governance solutions, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Structured, detailed working methodology; continuous improvement approach and process oriented

Language skills: Proficient English (written and oral)

Understands and respects different cultures

Likes to work in a Global and fast changing environment

Self-driven, motivated individual who can efficiently influence delivery in matrix organization

Requires minimum travel
