About the role

NYGC Services, Inc. is seeking a SAP Master Data Governance specialist to join our growing Information & Communication Technology team. This is a full-time position based in Manila City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining master data governance frameworks within our SAP ecosystem. You will play a critical part in ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity across the organisation, supporting our strategic objectives for digital transformation and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and implement comprehensive master data governance policies, standards, and procedures within SAP systems
2. Design and maintain data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of master data
3. Oversee the creation and maintenance of master data repositories and data catalogues
4. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify master data requirements and establish governance workflows
5. Monitor and audit master data for compliance with organisational standards and regulatory requirementsProvide technical support and training to end-users on master data governance processes and tools
6. Develop and optimise SAP master data tables, structures, and hierarchies
7. Lead data remediation initiatives and manage ongoing data maintenance activities
8. Generate reports and analytics to measure data governance performance and KPIs
9. Work with IT and database administration teams to ensure system performance and data security

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field
2. Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in master data management or data governance roles
3. Proven expertise in SAP systems, particularly SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) module
4. Strong knowledge of data quality management, data standards, and data architecture principles
5. Experience with database administration and SQL proficiency
6. Familiarity with data integration tools and ETL processes
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
8. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
9. Project management experience and the ability to work in cross-functional teams
10. Knowledge of data governance frameworks such as DAMA or TOGAF is advantageous
11. Relevant certifications in SAP, data governance, or related disciplines would be highly valued
