Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant in the Philippines to lead and support R2R processes, with focus on period-end closing and financial reporting. The role involves configuring withholding tax (EWT) with ATC codes and handling tax and statutory reporting in line with PH regulations.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of SAP FICO experience, 1–2 S/4HANA implementations, strong FI/MM/SD integration knowledge, and familiarity with PH BIR CAS requirements.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of SAP FICO experience
• At least 1–2 S/4HANA implementation/rollout projects
• Strong knowledge of R2R processes and FI integration (MM/SD)
• Exposure to Philippines BIR compliance (CAS, EWT) preferred
• Experience in BIR CAS demonstration and approval process is a strong advantage
• Configuration and management of Withholding Tax (EWT) and tax reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead and support R2R processes: period-end closing and financial reporting
• Configure and manage Withholding Tax (EWT) with ATC codes; tax and statutory reporting in PH laws
• Ensure compliance with BIR CAS accreditation requirements; document sequencing and reporting formats
• Handle integration with MM & SD: P2P (MM-FI) and O2C (SD-FI) flows
• Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution and cutover activities
• Collaborate with business, tax teams and external consultants for compliance readiness

Job Description:

• BIR CAS (Computerized Accounting System) accreditation requirements
• Document sequencing and statutory reporting formats

• Procure-to-Pay (MM-FI) and Order-to-Cash (SD-FI) flows

Support:

• SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and cutover activities

Collaborate with:

• Business, tax teams, and external consultants for compliance readiness
