Job summary

A leading consulting firm in the Philippines seeks a professional to support client account teams in business development, including leading RFP responses and solution development. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance transformation projects and must assist with process design and implementation. Involvement in at least three phases of finance and accounting shared service centers is required, along with the ability to conduct gap analyses and process reengineering.

Qualifications

• Experience from consulting firms or companies involved in Captive Shared Services.
• At least 3 projects in implementation of Finance and Accounting Shared Service Centers or BPO.
• Functional experience in Finance transformation projects.

Job description

Key Responsibilities include:

• Support client account team in business development including leading client RFP response, solution development, participating in client orals, commercials etc.
• Assisting in business diagnosis and planning activities
• Documenting As-Is Process in core finance areas
• Carrying out gap analysis between As-Is processes and Best Practices and formulating specific solutions to address prioritized gaps
• Defining splits of processes across Shared Service, Business unit and Center of Excellence
• Designing to-be processes and roles leveraging leading practices and enabling technologies
• Assisting in designing of reporting requirements for operational reports, service level requirements and process KPIs
• Assisting in managing Process Transition, Knowledge Transfers & Process Reengineering
• Assisting with shared services operating model design and implementation including governance and service management
• Assisting in conducting business case analysis for a shared services / outsourcing advisory / operations transformation / process improvement program
• Assisting clients in enabling technology selection for shared service/ captive centers and helping prioritize implementation
• Assisting business architecture implementation activities
• Defining testing and implementation activities for architectures, capabilities, and processes
• Preparing the client for deployment (communications, training)

Qualifications:

• Preferably candidates from Consulting firms or Companies involved in setting up of Captive Shared Services.
• At least 3 projects in one or more phases (Assessment, Planning, Design, Development, Operational Support) of Implementation of Finance and Accounting Shared Service Centers or BPO in one of the core finance processes
• Functional experience in Finance transformation projects across all or any of the phases i.e.Plan, design, Build, Test and Deploy preferably involving implementation of Enabling technology, tools, and Software applications
• Should be able to design to-be processes and roles leveraging leading practices and enabling technologies
• Should know how to assist in designing of reporting requirements for operational reports, service level requirements and process KPIs
• Should know how to assist in managing Process Transition, Knowledge Transfers & Process Reengineering
• Should know how to assist with shared services operating model design and implementation including governance and service management
