Job summary

VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) seeks an experienced SAP Datasphere and SAC Administrator to join its AIDA service line. Based in India (Pune, Bangalore or Ahmedabad), the role covers administration, governance, security, performance, and support for SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud across development, test and production landscapes.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
• Strong SDLC and Agile understanding.
• Experience with SAP Datasphere and SAC administration, tenant management and governance.

Responsibilities

• Administer SAP Datasphere tenants, spaces, quotas, user groups and roles.
• Configure SAP and non-SAP connectivity (OData/ODBC/JDBC) and data products.
• Monitor platform performance, data loads and storage utilization.
• Govern semantic models, lineage, version control and change management.
• Lead incident resolution and coordinate platform releases and updates.
• Manage SAC tenants, licensing, provisioning and environment mgmt.
• Provide L2/L3 support and best-practice guidance.
• Collaborate with SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA and data source teams.

About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Datasphere & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Administrator to join our AIDA service line within the New Service Tower. Based in Pune, Bangalore or Ahmedabad, this permanent role will be responsible for the administration, governance, security, performance optimisation and operational support of SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud platforms. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, BI developers, cloud teams and information security teams to ensure reliable, scalable and secure analytics solutions that support business objectives.

The successful candidate will bring strong SAP platform administration expertise, excellent stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to operate effectively within complex, fast-paced and globally distributed environments.

What you’ll do

Administer SAP Datasphere tenants, spaces, quotas, user groups, roles and resource allocations.Configure, maintain and monitor SAP and non-SAP connectivity, including OData, ODBC and JDBC integrations.Manage data products, datasets, replication processes and virtualisation activities.Govern semantic models, views, lineage documentation, version control and change management processes.Monitor and optimise platform performance, data loads, storage utilisation and query execution.Implement and maintain role-based access controls, audit processes, data privacy controls and compliance requirements.Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis and preventive action planning.Coordinate platform releases, SAP updates, patches and feature deployments.Administer SAP Analytics Cloud tenants, licensing, provisioning and environment management across development, test and production landscapes.Manage user access, teams, folders, authorisation structures and identity integrations using SSO, SAML and enterprise directories.Govern SAC content including models, stories, dashboards, planning artefacts and analytic applications.Monitor system health, refresh schedules and performance of live and acquired data connections.Provide L2 and L3 support, knowledge management and platform best practice guidance.Collaborate with SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, SAP HANA, BTP and non-SAP data source teams.Support automation initiatives, monitoring frameworks, CI/CD processes, backup strategies and disaster recovery activities.Maintain operational runbooks, governance standards, architecture documentation and data catalogue records.Engage with business and technical stakeholders to deliver platform services in line with agreed SLAs.

Who you are

Essential Experience & Skills

• Strong experience in SAP Datasphere administration, including spaces, roles, connections, data products, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience administering SAP Analytics Cloud, including tenant management, content governance, transport management and security controls.
• Knowledge of authentication and identity management technologies including SSO, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, Azure AD and Okta.
• Understanding of RBAC, audit controls and enterprise security governance.
• Experience with platform performance monitoring, query optimisation, scheduling and capacity management.
• Working knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA, CDS views, SAP HANA and integration with non-SAP platforms such as SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Ability to automate administrative activities using APIs, scripting or related technologies.
• Understanding of incident, problem and change management practices and ITIL-based operational processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ownership and delivery focus in complex environments.

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
