Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Metro Manila seeks a Finance Systems Specialist to support SAP Advanced Financial Closing (AFC) implementations. You will join a team focused on financial close automation and process standardization.

The role includes developing templates, conducting workshops, coordinating tests (Unit, Integration, UAT), validating data, and resolving issues across project phases, with emphasis on accuracy and timely month-end close.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in Finance or Finance systems.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.
Experience with financial closing processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation and rollout of SAP Advanced Financial Closing (AFC).
Develop closing templates, task lists, dependencies, and process variants.
Participate in workshops to gather business requirements.
Support testing activities including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Assist with data validation and issue resolution during project phases.
Provide day-to-day support for SAP AFC users.
Monitor closing execution and assist in resolving operational issues.
Maintain closing task lists and process documentation.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Identify opportunities for process simplification and automation.
Assist in enhancing existing AFC processes and workflows.
Support the adoption of new SAP AFC functionalities.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within Finance Transformation.
Contribute to system upgrades and future rollouts.
