Job summary

Gratitude Philippines is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our Cebu City team on a hybrid basis. The role requires strong ABAP skills, SAP HANA/S4HANA exposure, and a passion for delivering high-quality software on time.

You will follow secure coding practices, collaborate with the technical team, and support client transitions from analysis to deployment. Filipino work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of SAP ABAP experience.
• At least 6 months of hands-on SAP Suite on HANA (SoH) or S/4HANA or upgrade experience (Unicode, SPAU/SPDD, ABAP on Basis).
• ABAP OO programming with NW 7.5 features.
• Eligibility to work in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Follow security coding practices and perform code reviews.
• Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues.
• Participate in transitions to testers for the application or architecture components.
• Fix defects and performance problems identified during testing.
• Document the application to aid maintenance.
• Design, develop and configure software to meet client requirements end-to-end.

WORK SET UP: Hybrid in Cebu City

WORK SHIFT: Depends with the client and project but they are looking for someone who can work on a shifting schedule

Salary budget:once selected, the final salary offer will depends to the client and project you will be assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of SAP ABAP experience is required
• Minimum of 6 months of hands-on SAP Suite on HANA (SoH) or S/4HANA, or at least an SAP Upgrade experience i.e. Unicode conversion, SPAU/SPDD, ABAP support on Basis upgrades or Functional testing, etc.
• Have ABAP Object Oriented Programming (OOP) with NW 7.5 features
• Passion for quality, on-time delivery, customer focus, open minded and self-motivated person
• Knowledge about SAP product standards, cloud qualities, coding guidelines in the development environment
• Open for those applicants who are currently in Philippines and already have the right to live and work in this country are eligible for this role

Job Description:

Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Follow security coding practices to ensure the application is free of common coding vulnerabilities using code reviews as further validation.
• Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may impact the project.
• Participate in transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers.
• Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing.
• Document the application to facilitate maintenance.

Client Relationship Development and Management

• Design, develop and configure software systems to meet market and/or client requirements either end-to-end from Analysis, Design Implementation, Quality Assurance (include Testing) to delivery and maintenance of the software product or system or for a specific phase of the lifecycle.
• Perform Unit/Component Testing.
• Participate in Integration Testing.
• Provide support during UAT.
• Provide support on deployment preparations
