Job summary

Hoya is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, and support SAP applications across ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments in the Philippines. You will work with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver robust SAP solutions for banking and payments.

The role emphasizes DME development, payment file processing, and building CDS views, AMDP, and OData services while ensuring performance and adherence to SAP development standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years SAP ABAP development experience.
• At least 3 years SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong DME and payment file processing experience.
• Hands-on ABAP Objects, ALV Reports, SmartForms, SAP Scripts, BAPIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP solutions in ECC and S/4HANA.

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications, interfaces, reports, forms, and integrations, including Data Medium Exchange (DME) solutions for banking and payment processes. The role requires collaboration with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions and support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Enhancement

• Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP solutions in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Develop and maintain: Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV), Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework), Interfaces (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, OData Services), Conversions, Forms (SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms), Workflow-related developments
• Perform code reviews and ensure SAP development standards and best practices are followed.

DME and Banking Development

• Design, configure, and support DME Trees for electronic payment processing.
• Develop and enhance payment file formats for banking integrations.
• Support payment medium workbench (PMW) and bank communication processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve DME-related issues in payment runs.

SAP S/4HANA Development

• Develop and optimize applications for SAP S/4HANA.
• Build and maintain CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
• Support SAP Fiori applications and SAP Gateway services.
• Analyze and optimize custom programs for HANA database performance.

Support & Maintenance

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 application support for SAP custom developments.
• Perform root cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and enhancement projects.
• Assist in testing, deployment, and hypercare activities.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and test scripts.
• Collaborate closely with Functional Consultants (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, etc.).
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and project implementation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong experience with DME (Data Medium Exchange) and payment file processing.
• Hands-on experience with: ABAP Objects, ALV Reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Enhancements and BAdIs
• Experience in debugging SAP standard and custom programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
