Job summary

Toni&Guy Philippines is seeking a Salon Assistant to support daily salon operations at MOA, assisting Stylists and Technicians, and maintaining a ready, clean, and brand-aligned environment. You will greet clients, help with service prep, and manage opening/closing tasks.

This role emphasizes professional client service, assisting with technical services, and promoting product knowledge and retail engagement while upholding grooming standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients in a warm, professional, and courteous manner.
• Help ensure clients are comfortable throughout their salon experience.
• Assist with beverage service and other client needs.
• Review daily bookings and service requirements with Stylists and Technicians.
• Prepare service stations, tools, products, and common areas before operations.
• Support salon opening, turnover, and closing procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe salon environment.
• Assist Stylists and Technicians during salon services.
• Perform shampooing, blow-drying, hair coloring, treatments, and basin assistance as assigned.
• Prepare tools, products, and other materials required for services.
• Follow instructions accurately and ensure proper preparation for color and treatment services.
• Maintain quality, efficiency, and consistency in performing assigned tasks.
• Develop knowledge of salon retail products and their proper usage.
• Assist in recommending appropriate products based on client needs and service outcomes.
• Support retail sales and product engagement through informed client interaction.
• Maintain proper personal grooming and professional appearance at all times.
• Follow company policies, salon standards, hygiene protocols, and operating procedures.
• Maintain clean hands and nails, polished shoes, and clean, presentable hair.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, initiative, and accountability.
• Work collaboratively with Stylists, Technicians, and other salon team members.
• Attend and actively participate in required training, coaching, and development programs.
• Accept feedback positively and continuously improve technical and customer service skills.
