Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking a Business Solutions Officer to acquire new SME loan clients and deepen market penetration in an assigned sales territory, focusing on SMEs, business owners, sole proprietors, and professionals.

Responsibilities include mapping territory, building an influencer network, engaging branches, arranging meetings, attending events, developing quotes, guiding onboarding, upselling, and ensuring compliance and complete loan documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing/management
• Knowledge in sales, marketing or related field
• Good in business writing and proposal preparation

Responsibilities

• Map the assigned territory for SME presence and opportunities defined per sales territory
• Establish a network of influencers within the territory and connect with government entities, NGOs, civic organizations supporting SMEs
• Establish rapport with BPI and BFSB branches; contact potential clients to arrange meetings
• Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events; develop quotes and proposals for clients
• Guide new customers through product onboarding; upsell and create multiple product hits with existing clients
• Ensure submission of mandatory requirements and compliance to all business rules and regulatory requirements; ensure loan documents are complete and properly executed

Job description

The Business Solutions Officer is responsible for acquiring new SME loan clients and developing penetration in an assigned sales territory targeting SMEs, Business Owners, Sole Proprietors, Professionals, and the like.

Responsibilities:

• Map the assigned territory for SME presence and opportunities, defined per sales territory.
• Establish a network of influencers within the assigned territory. Connect with government entities, non-government organizations, civic organization that support and interact with small and medium sized business enterprises
• Establish rapport with BPI and BFSB branches within his sales territory
• Contacting potential clients to connect and arrange meetings
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
• Developing quotes and proposals for clients
• Guiding new customers and managing their expectation through the product onboarding processes
• Upselling and creating multiple product hits with existing clients of the Unibank
• Ensuring submission of mandatory requirements and compliance to all business rules and regulatory requirements
• Ensures that loan documents are complete and properly executed by the Customer. The BSO shall be responsible for any deficiency, its approval & compliance.
