Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking dynamic engineering professionals to design, validate and deliver advanced process solutions across multiple industries. You will contribute to design, testing, and development of engineering solutions while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with global teams to manage projects, improve processes, and drive innovation through knowledge management and continuous learning. A Bachelor’s degree and strong technical acumen are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in delivering integrated engineering solutions across design, testing, and deployment.
• Proven ability to manage contracts, budgets, and cross-functional teams within regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Process Design Engineering: analyze information, specify methods, process steps, and equipment for design/improvement within cost/quality targets.
• Engineering Solutions Design: design feasible engineering solutions, plan feasibility tests and supervise implementation.
• Engineering Standards Specification: draft standards and specifications, evaluate effectiveness within the discipline.
• Engineering Inspections: inspect projects to ensure quality and regulatory compliance; specify remedial work.
• Contract Management: manage day-to-day relationships with contract service providers per plan.
• Improvement/Innovation: identify shortcomings and drive change through established programs.
• Bid Solicitation/Proposal/Tender: gather resources and draft proposals to win contracts.
• Knowledge Management System: help others use KM systems effectively.
• Product and Solution Development: develop products by analyzing customer needs and delivering solutions.
• Project Management: work within project plans to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Process Design Engineering

  Contribute to the analysis of information, the specification of the methods, process steps, and the plant, machinery and equipment required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems, to deliver the end product within specified cost and quality parameters.

• Engineering Solutions Design

  Contribute to the design of engineering solutions; design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation to support the development and validation of engineering solutions.

• Engineering Standards Specification

  Contribute to the analysis of information, the drafting of engineering standards and specifications, and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards within own engineering discipline to inform engineering work in the organization and/or of its suppliers, contractors, and consultants.

• Engineering Inspections

  Carry out inspections to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and specify the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements.

• Contract Management

  Deliver required outcomes by managing day-to-day relationships with contract service providers while working within an established contract management plan.

• Improvement/Innovation

  Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them.

• Request for Bid Solicitation/Proposal/Tender Response

  Gather information and resources and draft and complete proposals and fulfill all process requirements (in terms of deadlines, documentation, etc.) in response to bid solicitations/request for proposal/tender, to create the best chance of being awarded the contract.
