Job Description
- Lead and develop a large, high performing commercial organisation
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
- Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
- Review market analysis to determine customer needs and price schedules
- Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products
- Meet with key clients, maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
- Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales
- Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis
The Successful Applicant
- Proven track record leading large commercial teams and exceeding sales targets
- Extensive experience in both modern trade & general trade
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence at a high level
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
