Job Description

  • Lead and develop a large, high performing commercial organisation
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
  • Review market analysis to determine customer needs and price schedules
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products
  • Meet with key clients, maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales
  • Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven track record leading large commercial teams and exceeding sales targets
  • Extensive experience in both modern trade & general trade
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence at a high level
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
