Job summary

Silicon Valley Computer Group Phils Inc. is seeking a Sales Cashier to process customer purchases, handle payments, issue receipts, and keep accurate records of daily cash and sales.

The role is based at our SM Megamall store in Mandaluyong, reporting to the Branch Supervisor or Store Manager. Responsibilities include counting cash, reconciling transactions, assisting Sales Personnel, and communicating payment options and promotions to customers.

Qualifications

• Senior High School graduate; college graduate is an advantage
• Experience as cashier, retail or sales preferred
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and payment processing
• Good numerical and organizational skills
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and trustworthy
• Good communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently, receiving cash, card payments, e-wallets and other methods
• Verify payments before completing transactions, count cash, and provide correct change
• Issue receipts, invoices and sales documents; record transactions in POS/system
• Handle refunds, cancellations and exchanges per company policy
• Assist sales personnel in completing transactions and confirm product details before payment
• Inform customers of payment options and promotions
• Maintain custody of cash and count at shift start/end
• Reconcile cash, POS records, receipts, and report discrepancies to supervisor
• Prepare and submit daily cash and sales reports and ensure deposits per procedures
• Verify items, quantities, serials, and prices before releasing products
