Responsibilities

• As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with product selection, and contributing to the overall success of the sales team. You will interact with customers, maintain a clean and organized store, and help to meet or exceed sales targets, ensuring the store environment is inviting and customers have a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of sales processes or retail operations is a plus.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent verbal communication, friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor; ability to handle inquiries and complaints with patience and a solution-oriented approach; ability to assist customers in finding products that meet their needs; knowledge of upselling and cross-selling techniques; ability to contribute to store sales targets.
• Product Knowledge: ability to learn about and retain product knowledge; demonstrate products and explain features and benefits.
• Teamwork: ability to work well as part of a team; collaborate with staff to ensure smooth store operations and exceptional customer service; willingness to help with stocking, organizing, and merchandising.

• Cash Handling and POS Operation: process sales transactions accurately using a POS system; experience handling cash, cards, and giving change; accuracy in balancing the till at the end of the shift.
• Physical Stamina: ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate-weight items; perform tasks such as restocking shelves or arranging displays.
• Flexibility and Availability: willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; ability to adapt to changes in store priorities or customer demands; enthusiastic and positive attitude toward customer service and sales goals.
