Job summary

Aboitiz Foods is seeking an experienced SHE professional to support the development and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety programs across the organization. The role involves conducting safety inspections, hazard identifications, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering course or BS/Diploma in Engineering Technology.
• 3–5 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE/SHE).
• Valid Driver’s License; Professional License is an advantage.
• OSH Practitioner certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices, hazard identification and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills with cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety programs, policies and initiatives.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, hazard identification and risk assessments to ensure a safe workplace.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and safety-related complaints; recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and conduct safety training, orientations and awareness programs.
• Implement fire prevention, emergency preparedness and safety equipment programs.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards and applicable government regulations and requirements.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies such as DOLE, BFP, PPA, DENR and LGUs on safety permits and compliance.
• Monitor and ensure timely closure of safety findings and corrective actions.
• Support the implementation and continual improvement of 5S, ISO, GMP and other management systems.
• Analyze safety data and prepare reports and safety performance updates for management.
• Work with different departments to promote a strong safety culture; support food safety, quality and Halal requirements.
• Perform other SHE-related duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of any Engineering course or BS/Diploma in Engineering Technology.
• Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE/SHE) functions.
• License: Valid Driver’s License; Professional License is an advantage.
• Certification: Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Practitioner certification is preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices, hazard identification and risk assessment, safety inspections, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance.
• Other: Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with different departments and stakeholders.
