Work Arrangement: On‑Site
Occupational Safety and Health Specialist
Completes site hazard and safety analysis on Safety and documents details in the site plan.
Drafts an effective Safety plan with appropriate safety standards to curb potential accidents and incidents.
Effectively manages OSH programs through inspection, audit, and validation for proper implementation.
Handles renewal of OSH permits and licenses and constantly monitors to avoid fines and penalties.
Addresses all OSH non‑compliance issues through effective communication and coordination with functional teams.
Performs regular inspections of sites and offices to ensure safety rules and procedures are followed and assures compliance of all project sites to all applicable national, local, and community laws pertaining to Safety and Health.
Conducts investigations and analyses of all accidents or hazardous situations. Identifies trends and causes, as well as follows up on corrective and preventative actions.
Conducts site OHS visits to check conditions and coaches the site team as needed in the implementation of the OHS Plan.
Ensures awareness of employees and contractors on OSH standards by implementing training programs and establishing communication channels.
Prepares all OSH reports required by customers, company personnel, and/or regulatory agencies.
Prepares summaries of OSH Plans, programs, incident reports, and accomplishment reports and applies mitigation/innovations to succeeding programs.
Acts as support liaison for all sites in helping comply with regulatory requirements and ARI OSH programs.
