Job summary

CDO Foodsphere, Inc. is seeking a Safety Officer to develop and implement safety standards across operations. You will lead awareness programs for safety and emergency preparedness, perform hazard analyses, and enforce controls to prevent incidents.

You will investigate accidents and guide preventative measures, while ensuring compliance with company policies. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Nursing), SO3 level with BOSH cert, and at least 2 years of manufacturing safety

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Nursing.
SO3 level with BOSH certification and 48 hours of advanced occupational safety training.
At least two years of experience as a full-time Safety Officer, preferably in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements safety regulations and standards for operations.
Leads educational programs on safety and emergency preparedness.
Conducts hazard analyses and risk assessments to enforce safety controls.
Represents the organization on safety matters.
Manages data and submits reports to stakeholders.
Conducts accident investigations and guides preventive measures.
Complies with Code of Conduct, Food Safety, Quality, Environment, Health, Safety policies.
Reports issues or emergencies to the supervisor or designated person.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
