Net Pacific, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our Pasig City site. This full-time role focuses on developing and implementing safety programmes to protect all personnel on construction sites in Metro Manila.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with POSHS and Philippine regulations, conduct risk assessments, lead safety training, and maintain documentation to support a strong safety culture across projects.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional Safety Officer experience in construction or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering orOSH-related field.
• Valid Safety Officer certification recognized in the Philippines.
• In-depth knowledge of POSHS and Philippine safety regulations.
• Experience with hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.

About the role

Net Pacific, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in our construction operations by ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all personnel on site. As Safety Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programmes that comply with all relevant regulations and industry best practices. This role is essential to our mission of creating a safe working environment and protecting our workforce from occupational hazards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs across all construction sites

• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions

• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions

• Provide comprehensive safety induction and training to all personnel, including site workers, supervisors, and management

• Maintain detailed safety records, documentation, and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements

• Monitor personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and fit for purpose

• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, drills, and first aid arrangements.

• Issue safety notices and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Work closely with project teams to promote a strong safety culture and prevent accidents.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2–5 years of professional experience as a Safety Officer in construction or a related industry

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field.

• Valid Safety Officer certification or equivalent qualification recognized in the Philippines (such as DOLE certification or safety-related diplomas)

• In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, including the Philippine Occupational Safety and Health Standards (POSHS) and other relevant legislation

• Demonstrated expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, and accident investigation methodologies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence behavior and promote a safety culture across all levels of the organization

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety documentation/reporting

• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.

• Willing to work on project sites and enforce safety compliance

• Able to conduct safety training, toolbox meetings, and site inspections.
