Job summary

Link Energie Industries Co. Inc. is seeking a proactive Safety Officer to uphold safety across water infrastructure projects in Greater Metro Manila, including Caloocan City. You will develop and monitor policies, lead safety programs, and ensure DOLE compliance while coordinating with project teams and subcontractors.

You will organize safety training, conduct audits, and analyze incidents to drive continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on risk mitigation and emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field with 2+ years’ construction safety experience.
• COSH training completed; OSHP certification and advanced safety training are a plus.
• Experience supervising construction site safety and ensuring compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, RA 11058, DO 252-25 and workplace safety.
• Additional training such as LCM, HIRAC, First Aid or emergency preparedness is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and programs across projects.
• Conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments; recommend corrective actions.
• Provide incident analysis to support accident reduction and improvement.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, staff, clients, workers, and subcontractors on safety.

Link Energie Industries Co. Inc. is a construction company with 22 years of experience specializing in water infrastructure projects, including pipelaying, wastewater facilities, and reservoir engineering. We are currently managing seven ongoing projects across Greater Metro Manila in partnership with Manila Water and Maynilad.

About the Job:

At Link Energie, safety is our top priority. We are looking for proactive, detail-oriented Safety Officers committed to maintaining a safe work environment. You will play a critical role in implementing EHS policies and procedures across our project sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and ensuring our project are delivered safely.

About the Role:

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with regulations and company standards, maintaining accurate records and reports for management and DOLE.
• Monitor and track safety metrics on site, conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
• Provide statistical analysis of incidents to support accident reduction and continuous improvement of workplace safety.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination with Project Managers, Engineers, site staff, clients, workers, and subcontractors on safety protocols.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and ensure readiness of safety equipment.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, orientations, and training sessions for employees and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field (Engineering background is an advantage) with at least 2 years’ experience as a Safety Officer in construction or related industry.
• Completed COSH training; OSHP certification and advanced safety training are a plus.
• Experienced in supervising construction site safety, ensuring compliance, and various type of workforce effectively.
• Assertive, ability to communicate at different levels, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledgeable in ISO regulations, RA 11058, DO 252-25, and workplace safety standards.
• Preferred/Advantageous Training & Certifications: Loss Control Management (LCM), HIRAC, First Aid & Emergency Preparedness, Scaffolding, Lifting & Rigging, Confined Space Safety.
