Job summary

Philippine International Convention Center - Government seeks a Safety Engineer (Job Order) to support Technical Services Department in ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations. The role involves designing, planning, developing, implementing and monitoring PICCI’s safety and occupational health programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering discipline (Safety, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and/or Industrial).
• Training in Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) and/or Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COS).
• Occupational Safety Health experience is an advantage.
• SO3 is an advantage.
• Computer literate and able to communicate technically.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections.
• Risk assessment and hazard control.
• Monitor safety compliance (DOLE Regulations and Occupational Safety and Health [OSH] Standards).
• Prepare reports and documentation relating to OSH.
• Investigate accident and incidents.
• Maintain safety records and reports.
