Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Rookie Advisor Development Specialist to design blended learning across face‑to‑face, online, and eLearning, under the supervision of the Rookie Advisor & Advisor Activation Head. You will craft engaging experiences, oversee the full learning life cycle from needs analysis to evaluation, and align programs with strategic goals to deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities include curriculum design, material creation, and delivering sessions both in person and virtually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning and Development, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories and principles.
• Proficiency with LXD, 6Ds Framework, ADDIE, SAM, and AGILE.
• Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning analytics.

• Utilize learning experience design principles to create effective and impactful training experiences.
• Deliver high‑quality training sessions, both in‑person and virtually.
• Provide performance support to onboard new recruits and achieve early new advisor activation.
• Conduct performance reviews during classes and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with agency leaders and agency sales management team by providing feedback and ensuring onboarding activities including JFW and business reviews are implemented consistently.
• Gather data on the curriculum, sessions, and all data that will help assess the program.
• Track and report updates on the progress of new advisors and Rookie Agent performance metrics and program impact.
• Utilize data and share with stakeholders to identify trends and make data‑driven decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning and Development, or a related field.

• Proficiency in instructional design methodologies such as LXD, 6Ds Framework, ADDIE, SAM, and AGILE.
• Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning analytics.
