Sereact is seeking a Hardware Lead to design innovative mechanical systems for AI-driven robots. You’ll provide hands-on guidance to technicians, develop 3D models and fabrication drawings, and set shop-floor standards while coordinating with electrical and software teams.

The role emphasizes technical leadership over formal management, with travel ~25% and a focus on robust, manufacturable designs delivered on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in robotics or automation.
• Experience mentoring technicians or junior engineers in hands-on roles.
• Experience in industrial design or special-purpose machinery.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo) and prototyping processes.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and components for AI-driven robots.
• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for fabrication.
• Optimize designs for cost, efficiency, and manufacturability.
• Conduct mechanical simulations and performance testing.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure integration with electrical/software.
