Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Robot Programmer to join our dynamic team at D2N Technologies. As a Robot Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in programming, optimizing, and maintaining robotic systems for industrial automation applications. You will work closely with our engineering and project management teams to deliver customized automation solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement robotic programs for industrial manufacturing processes, particularly in the automotive sector.
  • Program, configure, and optimize robotic systems, including ABB, Fanuc, and KUKA robots, for various applications such as welding, material handling, and assembly.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and modify robotic programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Integrate robotic systems with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and other automation components.
  • Perform offline programming using simulation software and refine programs during commissioning.
  • Ensure proper communication and integration of robotic systems using protocols like Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet, or Modbus.
  • Participate in on-site installation, commissioning, and testing of robotic systems.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including programming notes and user manuals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in robotics and automation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Robot Programmer in industrial automation, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Proficiency in programming robotic systems from major manufacturers (ABB, Fanuc, KUKA).
  • Experience with offline programming and simulation tools such as RobotStudio, RoboGuide, or KUKA.Sim.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and the configuration of robot safety systems.
  • Strong understanding of robotic kinematics, path planning, and motion control.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support and project execution.
