Job summary

East West Banking Corporation invites experienced risk professionals to join the Risk Management team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The role, Risk Management Officer (Operational Risk), is hybrid and targets a Manager to Senior Manager level, focusing on risk monitoring, policy compliance, and reporting to committees.

You will develop risk policies, deliver staff training, assess regulatory alignment, and help enhance customer experience through strong service standards and recognition

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Operational risk experience and enterprise-wide oversight exposure preferred.
• Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and board-level discussions.
• Ability to develop talent through coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Risk Officer in identifying, measuring, and managing the bank's risk within its defined risk appetite and risk-reward policy.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Risk Management Framework, including policies, procedures, and monitoring systems.
• Promote a strong risk culture across the organization to enhance awareness and accountability.
• Identify and analyze key risks and their underlying drivers across the Banks operations.
• Continuously monitor risk exposures against established tolerances and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Evaluate and update the Risk Management Framework regularly to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with the Banks evolving risk profile.

Our Risk Management team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig in the role of Risk Management Officer (Operational Risk).

In this role, you will manage the bank's risk by monitoring risks, preparing reports for committees, and ensuring policy compliance. You'll develop risk management policies and frameworks, offer training and development for staff, and regularly assess compliance with regulations. Additionally, your focus will include enhancing customer experience by maintaining high service standards and implementing recognition programs for excellent service.
