Job summary

A7 Recruitment is seeking a Risk Adjustment Coding Team Leader to oversee a dedicated team of medical coders and ensure SLAs, quality, and productivity targets are met. The role combines people management with hands-on coding oversight and process improvement.

You will coach and develop staff, audit coding accuracy, and maintain HIPAA/compliance standards while driving operational excellence across risk adjustment activities.

Qualifications

• Active Philippine Registered Nurse license (PHRN).
• Active CPC credential with risk adjustment experience (CRC preferred).
• 2–3 years Risk Adjustment Coding experience ( SME or people-management preferred).
• At least 2 years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Risk Adjustment coders, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Monitor SLAs, quality benchmarks, and productivity targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching/remediation.
• Ensure policy adherence and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform quality audits of ICD-10-CM coding and HCC classifications.
• Escalate complex coding queries with Operations/Program Manager guidance.
