Job summary

TuneCore Services is seeking a Content Infringement Operations team member to handle infringements and conflicts related to our artist catalog. Reporting to the Right and Catalog Protection Leader, the role involves managing video monetization inquiries, assets, claims, and policies within YouTube’s CMS and Facebook Rights Manager.

You will work on Zendesk and be part of our international team based in India, with 24/7 rostering and a 5-day week schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and third parties via email and phone regarding video monetization inquiries and conflict resolutions.
• Perform day-to-day Video CMS tasks in YouTube CMS and Facebook Rights Manager, reviewing claims for accuracy.
• Review assets to ensure eligible content is delivered and remove ineligible content.
• Research patterns to prevent unsanctioned activity and report findings.
• Handle copyright infringement duties and report technical/communication issues to improve service to TuneCore artists.
• Ensure KPIs and SLAs are met to support the business.

Job description

TuneCore Services is looking to hire a Content Infringement Operations team member to deal with right infringements and conflict situations related to our artist’s catalogue. The person shall be reporting to Right and Catalog protection Leader of TuneCore services. As part of our international team based India, you will be responsible for all aspects of TuneCore’s video monetization services, including communicating with customers regarding video monetization inquiries; managing assets, claims, and policies; and ensuring rights are properly administered within YouTube’s CMS and Facebook Rights Manager.

Your Day to day responsibilities include:

Effective Communicationwith customers and third parties, by email and phone, regarding video monetization inquiries and conflict/dispute resolutions, addressing issues with speed and efficiency.

Perform day-to-day Video CMS tasks (including in YouTube CMS and Facebook Rights Manager) and proactively review and evaluate the content and video claims for accuracy.

Review sound recording assets to ensure that only eligible content is delivered to video platforms and that any ineligible content is promptly removed.

Research and find patterns to prevent unsanctioned activity. Investigate potential occurrences of activity and report management.

Perform other duties as assigned by management on the subjects of Copyright Infringement.

Report technical and communication issues in order to better service TuneCore artists.

Ensure that all the KPI’s and SLA’s of TuneCore is well respected to serve the Business

Over and above, the role demands the following from the candidates:

Candidate to be operationally working onZendesk, YouTube CMS, Facebook Rights Manager and iTunes Connect

Should be adaptable to working in 24*7 operations following a rostering system of rotational shifts. It would be a 5 day work week, however the shift and week offs would be basis the roster system only

Qualifications

Having relevant experience in the areas of YouTube Infringement

Should have known to handle YouTube CMS

Written and spoken English with good communication skills mandatory

Passionate YouTube expert with YouTube Certification and an in-depth knowledge of the YouTube CMS especially with ‘To-Do’s of YT’ CMS which involves Reference overlaps, Potential claims, Invalid reference, Ownership Conflicts etc.

Digital friendly Knowledge about music rights management

Organized, reliable, proactive, disciplined, and independent

Team Player, multitasker with excellent time management and organizational skills

Proven knowledge and experience in MS Excel

Motivated and curious
