WeConnect Technology Philippines Inc. is seeking a Wireless Network Engineer to monitor performance, identify issues, and drive optimization initiatives in Cebu City. The role involves planning, implementing, and communicating optimization activities, as well as coordinating with customers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in telecommunications engineering, strong English communication, and a proactive, responsible mindset to support project milestones and service levels.

Qualifications

• Familiar with GSM/LTE/NR basics, mobile standards, protocols and radio optimization.
• 2+ years of experience in Telecommunication engineering implementation and network maintenance.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor wireless network performance and identify, track, and resolve network issues and risks.
• Plan, implement, and communicate wireless network optimization activities (upgrades, expansions, feature deployments, and event support).
• Organize and participate in customer communications; prepare and present materials and collect customer issues/requirements.
• Interpret wireless optimization clauses in contracts, break down tasks, identify risks, and monitor progress.
• Organize and lead capability building of the wireless network optimization team, including staffing assessment and optimization.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for wireless network performance monitoring, as well as identifying, tracking, and resolving network issues and risks.
• Responsible for planning, implementation, and customer communication of wireless network optimization activities (including but not limited to version upgrades, system expansion, feature deployment, and key event support).
• Organize and participate in various forms of customer communication activities; responsible for preparing and presenting materials, as well as collecting customer issues and requirements.
• Responsible for interpreting wireless network optimization clauses in contracts, breaking down tasks, identifying risks, and continuously monitoring implementation progress.
• Organize and lead capability building of the wireless network optimization team, including staffing assessment and optimization.

Job Requirements

• Familiar with GSM/LTE/NR basic principles, mobile communication standards, protocols and radio Optimization, with more than 2 years of experience in Telecommunication engineering implementation and network maintenance.
• Outgoing personality, logical thinking, good communication skills, self-discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
