You will monitor KPIs, analyze drive tests and performance data, troubleshoot RF issues, and prepare reports to ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in RF planning, design and network optimization.
• Hands-on experience with RF design tools (Atoll, Planet, TEMS) desirable.
• Strong knowledge of 4G/LTE, 5G and legacy technologies.
• Ability to monitor KPIs and troubleshoot RF issues.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to conduct on-site fieldwork in Davao.

Job description

The RFOptimization Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and optimizing wireless networks to meet coverage, capacity, and quality targets. Daily tasks include performing RF planning and design using appropriate tools, analyzing drive test and network performance data, and implementing parameter changes or design improvements to enhance network quality. The role involves monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), troubleshooting RF-related issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams to support rollout, upgrades, and optimization projects. The engineer will also prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations to ensure networks meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong RF Planning and RF Design skills for cellular and wireless networks.
• Experience in Network Optimization and improving Network Performance through data-driven analysis.
• Ability to monitor, interpret, and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for radio networks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with RF design and optimization tools (e.g., Atoll, Planet, TEMS, or similar) is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of cellular technologies (e.g., 4G/LTE, 5G, and legacy technologies) and propagation principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional and multi-vendor teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Davao and conduct occasional fieldwork or site visits as required.
