Staff Domain, Inc. is seeking a skilled Drafter to join our interior and building design studio in Wynnum, QLD. The role focuses on drafting residential plans and collaborating with design teams to meet client expectations and project goals.

Proficiency in REVIT and strong attention to detail are essential. The candidate should have 3+ years of residential drafting experience, a related degree, and solid knowledge of building codes and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture, civil engineering, or interior design preferred.
• 3+ years experience in residential drafting or architectural documentation.
• Proficiency in REVIT for residential design and documentation.
• Strong understanding of residential building codes, construction methods, and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details for residential projects using REVIT.
• Develop construction documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes and council requirements.
• Update and revise drawings based on feedback from senior staff, designers, engineers, or clients.
• Maintain drawing files and project records in accordance with office standards.

Work Schedule: 9:00AM to 6:00PM (QLD) | 6:00AM to 3:00PM (PH)

This is a full-time, drafter role for a interior and building design studio located in Wynnum, QLD. The drafter will be tasked with drafting residential plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with the design team, and ensuring all design outputs meet client expectations and project goals.

What Youll Do:

Youll be the kind of person who:

• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details for residential projects using REVIT.
• Assist in developing construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant building codes and council requirements.
• Update and revise drawings based on feedback from senior staff, designers, engineers, or clients.
• Maintain drawing files, project records, and documentation in accordance with office standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure drawings align with project timelines and quality standards.
• Stay updated with residential building code changes, drafting standards, and technical requirements.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Interior Design is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in residential drafting or architectural documentation.
• Proficiency in REVIT for residential design and documentation.
• Strong understanding of residential building codes, construction methods, and documentation standards.
• Ability to produce accurate drawings with strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with designers, engineers, and project teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple revisions and deadlines.
• Ability to interpret design concepts and translate them into clear technical documentation.
