Job Title: Revit Draftsman

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings and plans for architectural and engineering projects. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop detailed drawings using CAD and BIM software, ensuring compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards. Experience in façade cladding and glazing systems is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural and engineering drawings based on sketches, specifications, and project requirements.
• Create, revise, and update technical drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
• Develop drawings related to façade cladding, glazing systems, sub-framing, and structural connections.
• Review and modify drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and building codes.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering documents accurately.
• Ensure all drawings contain complete and accurate information required for construction or manufacturing.
• Maintain organized documentation and filing systems for drawings, revisions, and project records.
• Provide technical support and assistance during construction or manufacturing processes.
• Verify design specifications and gather technical data as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders regarding drawing updates and technical requirements.
• Stay updated with current drafting technologies, materials, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Architect or BS Architecture Graduate
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar drafting or design role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD/BIM software.
• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.
• Experience in façade cladding and glazing systems, including sub-framing and structural connections.
• Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, construction standards, and industry regulations.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
