Job description

Your Role

The Retail Sales Trader generates volume and income in Treasury products such as domestic and foreign currency money market instruments, fixed income securities, foreign exchange, and derivative products from Community Financial Services (CFS) accounts.

Your Impact

  • Trade various Treasury products, encodes these transactions via Kondor Plus (K+) and ensures that workflow of transactions is performed smoothly and accurately through proper coordination with concerned units of the bank
  • Conduct regular marketing calls to existing and prospective accounts; cross-sells other bank products and services through the following:

a. Visiting prospective and existing clients to promote financial instruments offered by the bank

b. Investing funds of clients in pertinent financial instruments to meet liquidity requirements and other strategies set forth by the bank

c. Coordinating with key marketing groups within CFS in identifying business opportunities

d. Attending to other banking needs of clients through consultative selling or by referring them to other servicing units of the bank

e. Conducting suitability assessment of clients to ensure products offered are in line with their investment needs and objectives, risk tolerance, financial sophistication, and investment experience

  • Identify business opportunities and suggest strategic direction to meet sales goals
  • Stay updated with relevant regulatory and compliance rules and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
  • Provide effective marketing tools on Treasury product and services to various distribution channels

Your Profile

  • College graduate, preferably of business related courses
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • Must be a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Licensed Fixed Income Salesman
  • Banker’s Association of the Philippines-ADMU Treasury Certified Professional (Full Certification)
