Job summary

mr-diy-ph Philippines is seeking a courteous cashier with POS experience to join our Quezon City location on Visayas Avenue. The role requires a bachelor’s degree (business or any 4-year course) and at least 1 year in a similar industry.

You will handle payments, operate registers, balance cash drawers, and provide reliable receipts. Strong customer service, attention to detail, and good communication are essential, along with basic math and computer literacy.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree (on Business course or any 4 year course).
Has sufficient background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
Has the ability to provide quality customer service
Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision
Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry
Average communication and people skills
Computer literate
Willing to work in Visayas Avenue Quezon City.

Responsibilities

Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
Maintain accurate cash drawer.
Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
