Responsibilities include leading store teams, implementing SOPs, managing risks, and driving CRM, VM, and customer experience initiatives in collaboration with Brand, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.

The Retail Operations Manager provides strategic direction, sound business advice, and strong leadership to the retail operations team, while partnering closely with Brand, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, IT, Key Accounts and Outsourced partners. The role carries full accountability for sales delivery, operational compliance, risk mitigation, and people management within the assigned scope.
Own and drive overall retail P&L performance across assigned brands and store network.
Develop and execute retail strategies to achieve and exceed annual sales targets and KPIs.
Lead business reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to analyze performance trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
Provide strategic direction to Assistant Managers, Area Supervisors, and field teams.
Partner with Brand and Marketing teams to co-create impactful retail calendars, launches, and commercial initiatives.
Identify expansion opportunities and recommend store productivity improvements.
Lead, coach, and develop Retail Operations Managers and retail field leaders.
Provide sound judgment, guidance, and decision-making support in managing store and people issues.
Strengthen succession planning and talent development within the retail organization.
Oversee manpower planning in partnership with HR and agency partners.
Handle escalated employee relations cases, performance issues, and conflict resolution within stores.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance across all retail teams.
Ensure consistent implementation of retail SOPs, compliance standards, and operational frameworks.
Oversee accurate sales recording, reconciliation, and system integrity (SAP, MIM, CE App).
Lead risk management initiatives related to inventory, cash handling, audit findings, and compliance gaps.
Conduct structured store visits and operational audits to ensure execution excellence.
Strengthen internal controls to minimize losses, stock discrepancies, and operational risks.
Oversee stock health across all stores, ensuring optimal inventory levels aligned with sales forecasts.
Monitor aging stocks, OOS situations, and sell-through rates, driving proactive action plans.
Partner with Supply Chain and Brand teams to improve allocation efficiency and minimize markdown risks.
Lead stock audit governance and reconciliation in coordination with Finance and agency partners.
Ensure FEFO compliance and strong inventory discipline across the network.
Champion customer-centric culture across retail operations.
Drive CRM strategy execution, ensuring achievement of acquisition, retention, and engagement KPIs.
Ensure teams are trained and aligned in delivering premium and consistent brand experience.
Monitor customer feedback and implement action plans to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Ensure strict compliance with global and local VM guidelines across all brands.
Partner with Brand teams to execute high-impact product launches and in-store campaigns.
Ensure store environments consistently reflect brand prestige and commercial effectiveness.
Drive accountability in maintaining testers, POSM relevance, and overall store hygiene.
Lead and manage retail-related projects such as new store openings, system rollouts, retail transformation initiatives, and process improvements.
Drive structured implementation of new tools, policies, and operational changes.
Anticipate potential operational risks during change implementation and proactively mitigate them.
Act as the key retail representative in cross-functional strategic projects.
Achievement of retail sales and profitability targets.
Strong governance and audit compliance across all stores.
Talent development and retention within retail teams.
Operational risk mitigation and process optimization.
Consistent and elevated customer experience delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
Minimum 6-8 years of progressive experience in retail operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
Experience managing multi-brand portfolios or multi-store networks, preferably in luxury or beauty retail.
Strong business acumen with P&L management exposure.
Proven track record in people leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Highly knowledgeable in labor laws, particular to Outsourcing, capable of guiding the people in line with this.
Strong conflict management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Experience in SAP, MIM, or equivalent retail systems.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
