Job summary

Bonfire Technologies and Solutions Corporation is seeking a Selling Area Supervisor to oversee stock management, inventory control, and store cleanliness while supervising merchandisers and team leaders. The role ensures accurate pricing, on-shelf visibility, and timely promotions execution.

You will manage stock levels, identify slow-moving items, coordinate with purchasing, and uphold discipline and leadership across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–2 years of managerial/supervisory experience in the supermarket retail industry.
• Willing to work on holidays and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and strategic planning skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Experienced in handling and managing employees.
• Systematic, organized, and adaptable/flexible.
• Must demonstrate strong discipline and firmness in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stocks are always sufficient and product displays are consistently full.
• Identify slow-moving items and monitor stock movement.
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
• Conduct accurate inventory counts and recommend purchase orders.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing team on fast-moving items.
• Ensure near-expiry items are properly pulled out from shelves.
• Achieve sales targets (if applicable).
• Supervise and monitor the performance of merchandisers and team leaders.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of promotions and bundling offers.
• Ensure all items have proper tag prices and/or shelf tags, and that shelf tags are kept updated.
